Reduce your waistline by cutting down on carbohydrates and fats. Consume more of protein and fiber-containing foods for satiety. A huge waistline causes insulin resistance.
4. Invest in a glucose meter: A diabetic needs to frequently monitor his blood sugar levels. Fluctuation either toward upper or lower range proves disastrous and even fatal at times. So, make sure you buy a home glucose monitoring device and keep measuring your sugar levels before each meal. This will give you confidence in yourself so that you can enjoy your next meal without any hassles.
