Spinal Decompression

VAX-D is the industry leader when it comes to non-surgical treatment options for those suffering from chronic low back pain, bulging or herniated discs, and sciatica. It has become well known as part of the standard of care for chronic spinal pain, and a leading alternative to surgery. The treatment is safe and provides results with zero of the risks associated with surgery, injections or anesthesia. It is also a very cost-effective treatment. The VAX-D treatment is supported by years of clinical research studies, and it is the only back and neck treatment that uses the patented smooth logarithmic curve method to distract the spine.

Graston Technique

The Graston Technique® is an innovative and patented instrument-assisted soft tissue mobilization that enables clinicians to effectively break down scar tissue and facial restrictions. Originally developed by athletes it is bringing about change in the way clinicians, physical and occupational therapists, hand therapists, chiropractors and athletic trainers and patients view treatment of any acute and chronic soft tissue injuries. The technique utilizes specially designed stainless steel instruments which identify and successfully treat areas showing soft tissue fibrosis or chronic inflammation.

Kinesio Tape

Kinesio-Tape was developed over two decades ago by a Japanese chiropractor, Kenzo Kase, D.C. In the 2008 Beijing Summer Olympics it gained worldwide recognition and popularity. As a Certified Kinesio-Taping Practitioner (CKTP), we believe that Kinesio-Taping is one of the most efficient techniques to treat overuse injuries in athletes. Kinesio-Tape is vastly different from conventional sports tape, which limits range of motion and circulation by restricting movement of the affected muscle and joints. Kinesio-Tape is highly elastic and when adhered to the skin, it lifts the tissue away from the injury and fascia which allows blood to flow correctly and more efficiently which helps alleviate inflammation whilst improving range of motion of the injured muscle & joint which in turn assists with the healing process.

Digital Motion X-Ray

Advanced Health and Wellness Center is delighted to offer Digital Motion X-Ray. This cutting edge imaging technique allows us to see injuries that conventional x-rays won’t pick up.
